COURSES

THE ART of FLORAL DESIGN
​
This is a 2 days hands-on, action-packed workshop created for the individual who wants to focus on floral design and learn the foundations to create beautiful arrangements. We will instruct on how to order, process and care for flowers in addition to teaching the mechanics, and color theory behind how we build our signature lush and organic centerpieces, bouquets, head crowns, corsages, and boutonnieres. The studio will be filled with a sea of the freshest seasonal blooms available and spend each day doing hands on learning. We will also discuss sourcing beautiful products, ribbons, vases, supplies and other materials. Additionally, we will discuss business strategy and how to grow your floral designing business through website, branding, social media and email campaign so you can land your ideal client and increase your revenue. Students will walk away with professional images of their work for portfolio and promotional use. Space is limited to only 8 students.

THE ELEMENTS of EVENT DESIGN
​
A beautifully designed event goes beyond a pretty flower centerpiece and involves layers of textures and elements to make that event come to life. We will explore all of those elements and reveal the steps we take to design a cohesive event from start to finish. This is a 3 days event. Each student will have hands on experience with building as follows:

Students will create a distinctive style shoot that incorporates the different layers of event design. The photos from this photo shoot can be used to create a website, high end branding and a showcase portfolio. We will also discuss sourcing beautiful designing products, supplies, rental items, and other materials. Additionally, we will talk through business strategy and how to grow your business through branding, website, social media and email campaign so you can land your ideal client and increase your revenue. Space is limited to only 6 students
June 5 - 7, 2023 - The Elements of Event Designing $2,500.

REAL WEDDING WORKSHOP
​
This is a 5 days experience is for anyone who wants to go behind the scenes and be part of putting a real Shelley Simone wedding together. I will be teaching the different elements of creating a design plan for both a ceremony and reception. Each student will have hands on experience with building bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, large scale installations, an arch, and over the top table design. Students will have professional headshots taken and of their work.
At the end of the workshop, students will join our team to design arrangements for a real wedding. On the wedding day we will work together as a team to install all of the design details to make the day extra special for a real couple. The photos from this wedding can be used to create a website, high end branding and a showcase portfolio. You will have the option to pay in full or choose the payment plan securing your seat with a $850 deposit for the Art of Floral Designing and a $1,500 deposit for the Elements of Event Design and Real Wedding Production Workshop. INVESTMENT

For a limited time, we are offering early bird pricing, and workshops are priced at a discounted rate from our standard workshop pricing. The Art of Floral Design will be offered at $1,500. The Real Wedding Production Workshops will be offered at $3,200. The
Elements of Event Design Workshop will be offered at $2,500.
The Real Wedding workshop is more expensive because of the additional costs of the extensive photo shoots we will be putting together. You will have the option to pay in full at the time of registration or you can choose the payment plan by reserving your seat with a $850 deposit for the Floral Design, and a $1,500 deposit for the Event Design Workshop and Real Wedding Production Workshop. The remaining balance for all workshops will then be paid in two or three installments before the start of workshop.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

LOCATION
Workshops will be held at our design studio, located in Converse, Texas, on the northeast side of San Antonio.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Workshops will be photographed, and each attendee will receive images of their work and action shots for portfolio and promotional use.
MEALS
An In-House Personal Chef will provide Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Beverages each day during the workshop.
LODGING
Because there are no hotels that are in close proximity to our studio, we provide names of Air BnB in the area for your convenience. In addition, because this is an accelerated program. We will be conducting hands on training in the days and business discussions in the evenings. This is where you'll meet with all our guest speakers and real talk Q&A session. We need for everyone to be in attendance. Accomodation is not included in workshop pricing.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not included to and from our studio each day, although many attendees connect and carpool together.

LIMITED SPACE
We are allowing a limited number of attendees at each workshop because we love having a close one on one connection with each student and undivided attention. Early registration is advised as past workshops have sold out.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
When you register for our workshop, we reserve one of our limited spots for you and begin to personalize your experience. For this reason, once a payment is made for tuition, it is not refundable if you choose to cancel your registration. If you need to make changes up to 40 days prior to the workshop, you can apply your tuition payment(s) to another open/available 2023 workshop. Payment plans are available.

REAL WEDDING PRODUCTION WORKSHOP
September 2 -6, 2023 $4,500.
Everything you need in an all-inclusive hands-on wedding workshop. This course is designed for students who are seriously thinking about starting a wedding and event designing business. In 5 days, this workshop is packed with business behind the creative, drafting contract to secure you and your business, email campaign to attract your ideal client, pricing for profit, marketing, hands on wedding planning, designing and production training from start to finish. You'll be visiting a wedding venue site, creating a design plan, sourcing flowers, learning processing techniques and care, designing floral centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony installation, creating a signature table-setting, room drapery, foyer design, executing the plan on the wedding day, setup and take-down at the end of the celebration.
