Here at Shelley Simone Creative, we are passionate about designing, executing distinguished events, working with gorgeous designing elements and simply creating beauty. Our greatest passion, however, is working with people. We love encouraging people, listening to their hopes and dreams, and then empowering them to find tangible ways to achieve those dreams by sharing our experiences and knowledge.

THE ART of FLORAL DESIGN
This is a hands-on, action-packed workshop created for the individual who wants to focus on floral design and learn how to create beautiful arrangements. We will instruct on how to order, process and care for flowers in addition to teaching the mechanics behind how we build our signature lush and organic centerpieces, bouquets and arrangements. We will fill the studio with a sea of the freshest seasonal flowers available and spend each day doing hands on learning. We will also discuss sourcing beautiful product, ribbons, fabrics, vases, supplies and other materials. Additionally, each workshop will also talk through business strategy and how to grow your business through website, branding, social media and email campaign so you can land your ideal client and increase your revenue. Students will walk away with images of their work for portfolio and promotional use.
THE ELEMENTS of EVENT DESIGN
A beautifully designed event goes beyond a pretty flower centerpiece and involves layers of textures and elements to make that event come to life. We will explore all of those elements and reveal the steps we take to design a cohesive event from start to finish. Each student will have hands on experience with building centerpieces, bouquets, large-scale event installations, table setting etiquette and breath-taking table design. Students will create a distinctive photo shoot that incorporates the different layers of event design. The photos from this photo shoot can be used to create a website, high end branding and a showcase portfolio. We will also discuss sourcing beautiful designing products, supplies, rental items, and other materials. Additionally, we will talk through business strategy and how to grow your business through branding, website, social media and email campaign so you can land your ideal client and increase your revenue.
REAL WEDDING WORKSHOP
This experience is for anyone who wants to go behind the scenes and be part of putting a real Shelley Simone wedding together. I will be teaching the different elements of event design, in addition to how we create our signature lush floral arrangements. Each student will have hands on experience with building centerpieces, bouquets, large-scale event installations, and over the top table design. Those arrangements will then be taken to the real wedding, and we will work together as a team to install all of the design details for both ceremony and reception, making the day extra special for a real couple. The photos from this wedding can be used to create a website, high end branding and a showcase portfolio. We will also discuss sourcing beautiful product, flowers, vases, supplies, rental items and other materials. Additionally, we will also talk through business strategy and how to grow your business through branding, social media, and email campaigne, so you can land your ideal client, price for profit and increase your revenue.
Spaces are Limited! To reserve your spot, please complete the registration form and proceed with payment. You will have the option to pay in full or choose the payment plan securing your seat with a $850 deposit for the Art of Floral Designing and a $1,500 deposit for the Elements of Event Design and Real Wedding Production Workshop. Registration is not complete until a form of payment is completed
Select a 2022 Workshop
For a limited time, we are offering early bird pricing, and workshops are priced at a discounted rate from our standard workshop pricing. The Art of Floral Design will be offered at $2,850. The Real Wedding Production Workshops will be offered at $4,500. The
Elements of Event Design Workshop will be offered at $3,500.
The Real Wedding workshop is more expensive because of the additional costs of the extensive photo shoots we will be putting together and lodging. You will have the option to pay in full at the time of registration or you can choose the payment plan by reserving your seat with a $850 deposit for the Floral Design, and a $1,500 deposit for the Event Design Workshop and Real Wedding Production Workshop. The remaining balance for all workshops will then be paid in two or three installments before the start of workshop.
Early registration is advised
Workshops will be held at our design studio, located in Converse, Texas, on the northeast side of San Antonio.
Workshops will be photographed, and each attendee will receive images of their work and action shots for portfolio and promotional use.
An In-House Personal Chef will provide Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks and Beverages each day during the workshop.
Because there are no hotels that are in close proximity to our studio, we provide lodging at an Air BnB in the area for your convenience. In addition, because this is an accelerated program. We will be conducting hands on training in the days and business discussions in the evenings. This is where you'll meet with all our guest speakers and real talk Q&A session. We need for everyone to be in attendance.
Transportation is not included to and from our studio each day, although many attendees connect and carpool together.
We are allowing a limited number of attendees at each workshop to comply with Texas States Covid-19 Guidelines. More so, we love having a close one on one connection with each student and undivided attention. Early registration is advised as past workshops have sold out.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
When you register for our workshop, we reserve one of our limited spots for you and begin to personalize your experience. For this reason, once a payment is made for tuition, it is not refundable if you choose to cancel your registration. If you need to make changes up to 40 days prior to the workshop, you can apply your tuition payment(s) to another open/available 2022 workshop. Payment plans are available.
